In order to overcome the shortage of doctors in government hospitals, the Haryana Health Department will advertise for recruitment to 900 posts within a week. The recruitment will not be made through the HPSC. It will be done by the department so that doctors could be appointed within four months. This was disclosed by the Health Minister, Mr Anil Vij, while addressing a press conference in Fatehabad, today.

 He said that after the recruitment, equipment would be installed in various hospitals to ensure proper utilization. Directions have been issued to officers and employees of all departments to change their outlook now that there is a change in government, and work to resolve the problems faced by the people. This is the priority of the BJP government, he added.
